How do I use Parador?

Using a behavior-based approach, any running application is monitored against
approved file accesses recorded in rules. Any deviation from the list of
approved rules will raise a warning. Once a warning is raised, the application
will stop to have access to the file system on the desktop until the user grants
permission.
One of the useful features of PARADOR is the inclusion of a LEARNING MODE using
scientific image recognition algorithms to train the software to recognize
normal file activity behavior based on a regular usage of the computer being
protected. When placed in the learning mode all file requests are allowed by
default and all activity collected for on-the-fly analysis that create custom
accept rules.
Rule modifications may be applied separately or directly in real-time. For
example, if a request is trusted, the settings can be configured accordingly and
the software will not inform you of this request in the future. Specified rules
can be changed at any time to meet a new criterion. To ease the process of
creating new set of rules, we periodically release rule updates targeted to
minimize the amount of false positives. These updates can be loaded
automatically in your policy database.
To facilitate operations such as installing new programs, PARADOR comes equipped
with a maintenance security level that can be selected to silence PARADOR
momentarily to allow system maintenance operations to be performed without
raising alerts.
