Remote Control
Mirador Instant Messenger's remote control option lets users observe the screen,
or remotely control the keyboard and mouse of any computer running a MIM client.
The setup of a Remote control session is simple and requires a user to send a
request and receive an authorization before any access can be granted. An
administrator can restrict the Remote control functionality when needing to
comply with internal security policy. Our RC function allows to view and

Audio Messages
You may send audio messages to any member in your team at any time. This
convenient feature comes with an easy to use GUI allowing you to retrieve audio
messages when it is convenient. Sending audio messages will require your PC to
have a microphone. Audio messages can be logged by the administrator on the
server.
Co-browsing
Having an instant messaging solution should not be limited to sending instant
messages. Our business instant messenger allows the users in your organization
to collaborate efficiently and share documents. The Co-browsing mechanism is a
powerful tool for pushing immediately a variety of documents such as web pages
or office documents. The co-browsing tool is limited to two users in a single
session. However, you have the option to move to our collaborative suite to
experience a greater freedom.
File transfer
You may ask yourself: so what is so particular about having this option? First
you can send files of any size in your network and you can see the progress of
your file transfer. When your users suffer from unreliable or slow internet
connections the file transfer can be continued at the point of interruption thus
saving time and bandwidth. It is details such as these that make Mirador instant
messenger a unique and versatile instant messaging solution. All the features
can be enabled and configured by the administrator. If the administrator
chooses, he can even setup clients to have a local shared instant messenger
folder.
Audio Communication
This convenient feature allows a user to communicate by voice when another user
is online and most important your voice conversations are encrypted for further
privacy. We have included various options so that you can customize the audio
quality depending on the internet connection that you have available. A Voice
Over IP (VOIP) communication can be established immediately by sending a request
to the other party.
