Why outsource your IM infrastructure to non-secure providers when you can have Mirador Business Instant Messenger running in minutes?

Time Scheduled Backup

This method provides a way to synchronize files, directories and volumes at programmable intervals or specific dates.  The automation rules for Miramar are very flexible and offer a time resolution up to a minute.  Time intervals can be specified for every object independently, and all backup operations can be applied at the same time.  This allows the software to backup individual files, directories and volumes to various locations simultaneously and at the same time.

The backup mode contains smart error control mechanisms that will identify and log uncompleted transactions if a destination location is not available during the schedule slice.  The backup will resume all operations previously unavailable during the next programmed interval.  For further control a notification can be sent to the administrator to indicate when some operations did not complete successfully.

Schedules can be defined with great flexibility and allows to backup objects as follows:

Synchronize now   Do task now.
Calendar Scheduling Do task at specified date, or at specified time or at specified    schedule (every Friday or every two hours and so on…)
Upon Startup Do task upon computer start

In the backup mode Miramar functions are:

Bi-directional  scheduled synchronization.   The destination and source folders will both store only the more recent files.
One-direction scheduled backup.

Differing Master Copy

Copies files from source to destination if files in the source are different than files in destination. Difference can be user defined with attributes such as size, date and time

Forced Master Copy

copies all files from source to destination

Recent Master Copy

copies files from source to destination if files in the source are more recent than files in destination

The Scheduled backup method can operate with:
  1. Local devices (to IDE/SCSI/USB hard-drives, CD-RW devices with UDF    support, MO devices, Iomega Zip drives and other removable devices.
  2. Remote hosts over a LAN (via 10/100Mbit, Gigabit Ethernet)
  3. Remote hosts over the Internet (via TCP/IP and HTTP/HTTPS protocols)
